All the worthwhile information on how you can go about your trading in order to make a long term profit can also be found FREE. No need to spend a penny. Ultimately it up to you though to find a winning method and strategy, noone gives them out for any price despite what you may read to the contrary.

Default holy cr@p

you can get a superbly written ladder application for use on betfair - for NOTHING....I don't, won't, believe it...well I will cos I've installed it just now and it looks fabulous.... haven't made a bet placement though because it's 21:05 and there's no UK horses running right now, but just you wait....

Ok....I'm not gonna start asking questions about this and that because I haven't looked through the user guide or videos...alrigh, that's rubbish.... I am, is there a way to enhance the charting? I want bollinger lines and moving average...am I being ponsey? It won't stop me using it if I can't.

By the way, My name is Mark, I'm 30....I have a cat called Morris and I attempt the odd trade. I'm also sick of the self righteous toss pieces out there claiming there software sends men to the moon on the backs of wasps whilst making you money by sitting at home picking your toes... I was surfing the hyper global meganet, taking in Webbs bullshit when I came across 'The Geeks Toy' - I'm impressed....

anyway, a bit of a bedraggled hello.... hope to speak to you all soon

Welcome to the madhouse.

As much as we'd like to take the credit for turning water into wine, please don't confuse a winning run with success after 2 days. Good luck for the future & long may it continue for you though.

Hi all,

I just joined and donated a fiver to the cause. I`m a new trader from the UK. I have been playing with betfair for about a year. Only betting on football never laying or anything, mainly just first scorer or the favorite to win because you seemed to get better odds than willhill.

i`m a man utd supporter so the thought of betting against my team didn`t seem right. Now i know different because there aint no better feeling than sitting down to watch a footy game knowing you win whatever happens..
btw i know zero about horse racing.

Anyways i found the toy and have been giving it a go with the nags.
Have been trading for a week and its going well.

I like the layout of the toy and the bets seem to go through very quickly, Whats the deal with the bf data costs? I have been keeping 2 races open 10 minss before the race for every one?
Anyways bf open again so let the fun begin...
I could get into this toy and im sure a few of you have.

Good Luck.

Default Trading Mentors/Buddies

I am new to the geeks toy. But I have a reasonably good understanding of trading.

Is there anyone in the West London area who fancies budding up, to bounce ideas off of each other and just a bit of networking with people on the same wavelength? A bit of face to face contact is good at times. I can trade at least four full days a week, sometimes more.

Default G'day

Hi All,
My name is Leroy and I'm from Bendigo, Victoria Australia. Have been dabbling in forex, shares, options, online casinos, etc; but have fallen in love with betting exchange trading.
Still a newbie and learning heaps. Came across the Toy yesterday and love it.
Would be happy to chat to other Aussie (And overseas) traders and keep in touch.
Cheers

Default sure I could train noobs, but then they'd just be trained noobs

Hi All,

A couple of my friends are professional arbers and after looking into arbing and finding the hours too long, and the bank too large, and most of all the returns too small I stumbled upon trading. It seems to have potential for what I want to eventually do which is to travel, and earn enough cash via the internet to get by, but up until now I've found information on the subject hard to come by. I refuse to buy any online courses and ebooks, but have managed to get my hands on some for free which has confirmed that I was right not to give away my hard earned cash. I'm reading some of the books recommended on the forum and will continue studying the the football and tennis markets, which I have by far the most chance of reading especially compared to the horses, and I'm sure I'll have more questions as I do that. But if any of you guys fancy doing it all for me that would be greatly appreciated.

Safe

Default Intro

Hi All

As an intro more info about me at http://tradergray.blogspot.com/ if you can be arsed to have a look. I’ve been lurking these boards for a week or so and know that one or two of you may have seen the blog and may even be subscribers.

I’ve been trading for about 4 years, used BAB first and lost 2 banks, then BR trial (didn’t like it, only using 1 hour of my 200 hour trial), then subscribed to BAP for 2 years, lost 2 more banks the first year but none since! I guess I am making progress.

I really enjoy trading and treated it more like a hobby than anything else but thought I should try and make some cash out of it this time last year and started the blog above.

Bit of been there done that got the t-shirt etc, yes bought shedloads of crap information in my early days, been on PW’s course and had been a staunch supporter of both Bet Devil Pro and Adam (Heathcote).

A bit of despondency set in during the summer 2009 and I took a break from trading to re-assess my abilities and examine my (many) faults.

I found out about The Toy via a blog I follow and it rekindled my interest so I’ll see how it all goes, I’m impressed with The Toy, it seems to suit me, I seem to suit it and the community looks great.

Anyway, I’ve probably bored you to death so that’ll do for now.

Cheers

I'm from Somerset been using the Toy for about two weeks and have made progress. Have used Betanger and the other one before the Nicko version but the toy is free and better than the others. I'm comfortable with it and it's intuitive as far as it goes. I'd benefit greatly from a stop loss tool but other than than it's brilliant for what i do which is trade pre-off horse markets in their most volatile periods.

Interesting blog greytrader. I'll keep reading.
