Yes, i saw ACG's thread and his videos on YT as well as his words on your web. His achievement and consistency on greyhounds is great!

Yes i agree. Trouble is so many start out wanting to make too much.... when you learn to make the pennies first it comes a lot easier. And the biggest part of making them is consistency. For me its my be and end all

I definitely agree. I have traded on Betfair a few years and constincy was always my problem. I was able to make big profit a day but at the end of the year I was at loss. I lost my trading account many times. But since last couple of month I started trading more responsibly and I have fixed some of my destructive patterns and consistency is much better than before.

    Hi.

Yes, at the first sight it may looks like chaos. After some time you will recognize some patterns and situations. Keep an eye on s/r levels, changing of volatile and nonvolatile stages, bigger stakes,.... Over time you will find your own patterns, those that suits you the most.

Depends on what you want from trading and the dogs. Definitely money there to be had although it's not the volumes you can find in other sports... lots of waiting about for not too much action too. Looking at it longer term its good as a stepping stone and learning curve.

hi J4N, i read your blog and i saw that you lose money because of markets suspending on greyhounds.

you can use "ip sp" ( in play starting price) function when you open an position and after that that you want to close it. right click on the unmatched bet and choose " ip sp". when you use this, if the market it will suspend before the off, geektoy will fire your unmatched bet at starting price and you will not lose so much money like when it goes in play.

i learn it about this from bmj and now i'm using every time. if you manually move the unmatched bet on the ladder you must again select " ip sp"

Caan wrote about this on his blog also
