Some questions/points:
1. Is it prohibited to bring technology to racing course, tennis matches etc which could potentially be used to access Befair for the means of betting on the events?
2. What about mobile phones? They can have the Betfair app on them & they cannot cannot prohibit a phone surely.
3. Wouldn't using the Betfair app at a tennis match (or even horse race) give you a fantastic advantage? Or am I exaggeratring the speed advantage one would get?

I don't have the answers but you can read one interesting thread here (http://www.geekstoy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1593) and a second one here (http://www.geekstoy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4314).

You'll get kicked out of tennis matches if they think you are trading, but at the race course they will let you use a box to trade from for a small fee...

Yesterday, people were tweeting that they were watching Wimbledon on telly and saw a man in the crowd with a laptop. I didn't see it myself, so it's very much secondhand information. Nevertheless, I live down the road from Wimbledon and may go down there to have a little shifty ... I've got a ball boys pass ... dunno if it will still work as it's from 1990! I've got a set of balls (somewhere) from the Becker v Edberg final, if anyone is interested!

Tip of the day - I don't know if this still works, but you used to be able to buy an outside court ticket, hang around the show-courts, and ask people leaving for their ticket ... obviously it depends on who's playing etc ... but saves queuing for tickets ... ;)
