Hello all,
my toy seems very slow the last 2 days. 2 Markets actually froze before the off.
I don't know if my PC is playing up again (had issues in the past) or is anyone else having issues ?

Above is a API picture and I'm wondering is it my service, the toy or betfair ?
I suspect it's my service (wireless) but was wondering if anyone could help shed some light ?

When the API counter turns red, it's not the toy.
I've had no other reports of this, so it seems to be local to you.

i have a wireless connection too. when i'm trading, i open the command prompt in a small window and start a continuous ping to an internet site, for example "ping www.google.com -t".
in put the small window ina corner of the screen (usually down-left) and i use it to check the response time, so i can see when the connection has a slow down or timed out requests.
if the ping is ok, but the counter of the toy is not, i assume it's s api problem, because if it was the connection i'd see it from the ping

because your internet connection is not very good :rolleyes:
It's not difficult to understand... if the ping background is red it means you lost the connection with the API servers and it's a problem with your ISP or the Betfair servers, nothing to do with The Toy.

my question is, what should be a good/normal number to be in the "response time of last API call in milliseconds" ??
and i would like to ask who can let me now the best configuration of THE TOY so it run the fastest, when i talk about "fastest", iīm talking about refresh time and sending orders time.
thank you!!
best regards.
(sorry for some poor English as iīm Portuguese)

I dont know if this helps but AGT was slow for me a few weeks ago and I did some PC housekeeping and things got markedly better. I ran Ccleaner and did HDD defrag using Auslogics + disc optimising. Hope this helps someone

Anything between 20 - 400 depending on where you are in relation to the exchange, & your broadband speed & connection. { I get about 70 for the EU exchange & 350 for the AUS one. }
