View Full Version : Fast tennis score site as backup to Bet365?

Hello
Normally use B365 for tennis scores as they are the fastest I've found, however today a match I was covering was not on B365, which reminded me I need a backup.
Looking for a FAST and reliable score site. Things like flashscore and protennislive which people often recommend are of no use, both currently not one but TWO points behind play?!
Thank you

Which one is the fastest varies from match to match. Which is the fastest can also change during a game. If I have no live video I have 3 scoreboards up.
Good ones are :
Paddy Power http://www.paddypower.com/bet/live
Tennis form is often good for if the others freeze. Not sure why but this one has had scores when I couldnt find them anywhere else.

Bwin seem quite limited in the number of games covered but they have a fast scoreboard. www.bwin.com

livexscores.com is pretty fast, sometimes ahead of bet365

Much appreciated Tradeshark, thank you. I've actually used Paddy Power before after someone else mentioned it and know it's a gooden, just totally forgot about it. I agree that fastest can vary but I've found Bet365 to be the most consistent would you agree?
Thanks polly91, interesting stuff! Never really come across scoring faster than B365 before (for the most part) so will check this out.

Paddy Power is two points behind B365 today, at least with Doha tournament, which appears to be the case with everthing vs B365 at present (which is unacceptable). Gotta love B365, just a pity some matches are missing from time from time.
Tennisform scoring is powered by livexscores.com so may as well go with source, and it's performing well at present, only slightly behind B365.

Yes 365 is spot on this week and there seem to have been fewer errors from them than normal ( which is why I use more than 1!)
Paddy hasn't been great at at all this week I agree.

Problem is when trading without video, you have to be confident that the scoreboard used is correct and that's why I insist on fast but also reliable. If you have two or three, this is great for getting the fastest scores, but is the fastest one correct? If it's one of those scoreboards you are not too confident with (for me anything other than B365), then chances are you'll wait until the other scoreboards report the same, in which case the speed advantage is lost. Can always go on what's happening in the market, but the majority of it is only responding to what the scoreboards are saying, but which one are those traders watching, the correct one or incorrect one?! Tricky business trading without video!
Great page Tradeshark and could be really useful, however the scoreboard there seem to be way behind the ones they represent?
Viewing for a bit longer I've discovered scores have actually frozen. Is this page optimised for a particular browser? I'm using chrome at present.

I got it and it's working perfectly now, thanks Tradeshark. It's actually slightly faster than the real deal?! Although this is probably due to having b365 open in Firefox and dup in chrome. I knew there were speed differences with regards to loading web pages etc between browsers, but didn't realise there were speed differences in flash!
I normally use chrome for everything but it's it got a weird bug at present where it crashes and halts system for few secs when you try to resize window, so I'm having to use Firefox for scoring window.
Why can you provide links to other score sites but not that one, which is fantastic and would be EXTREMELY useful to a lot of other tennis traders?

I have always taken tradesharks advice and used more than 1 scoreboardin case of freezing or errors popping up - my choice generally varies daily depending on which ones are fastest!
