Had a play this afternoon used "training mode" to say i am impressed would be an understatement even if it was in Training mode :)

I have a new strategy for this interface, will play/train for a while till i am happy with it before playing for real/small stakes and build up.

may even do a Video Tommorow, anyone got a link for screencast capture software?

some people look for a camtasia key on you tube and pause the video to copy a key, but please make sure you don't do that...

Camstudio is the free version of Camtasia I believe? Does the job well enough from what I have seen.

Hi there, new to forum and GT so apologies if answer easy. Saw this in the manual https://www.geekstoy.co.uk/UserManuals/EN/In-Play%20Interface.html and as it does not seem to be available on the version I downloaded yesterday am assuming it is in the Beta release? That facility is something that I plan to use so should I download Beta version please?
Thanks

The Beta with the In-Play interface is here...

Be warned though that the sounds don't work out of the box on that version.

There will be a new Beta out this week hopefully.

Thanks Ron, a couple of questions, you had 2 selections, why not trade out for smaller red on one of the selections as he drifted, from your other posts all your selections are determined pre race and you don't use the interface snapshot to find your selections, is this correct ?

I Almost did, i sat there looking at the state of play, i could have greened up for a smaller profit inside the first 2mins and 20 seconds, but decided to wait and see as i had the commentry on whilst watching the race, i had decided i would close out for a £15 loss, think the most the red hit was £14odd, then it turned.

Your right i usually go for a pretermined entry (usually on the off) and and more importantly an exit, I would point you to the the 1st post on this thread, i have been trying a new strategy which involves 2 to 3 runners per race,
you are correct in that i dont use the interface snapshot to find selections from the Video above i posted my selections on here almost an hour before the off, http://www.geekstoy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6952 of these too they were my strongest fancies for the racei was fortunate to have found the winner in one, finding runners/selections through form is still my mainstay.

what i have found using the Interface is after a while reading a race is easier especially at the back end of a race, possible lays or indeed back opportunities are there as the entire race/runners can be seen rather than a few laddders which i used to use.

Back to your 1st point, why not trade out on one of the other runners for a smaller loss, did this yesterday on a few races one of them drifted i closed... then the other came in waited and before i knew the original one came in too with the other going out... so closed out for the loss as the 1st one went on and won... next race closed out for a £1.10 loss the next selection was down to <1.5 i closed for a profit, it went on and lost... its all part of the learning of which i am still doing... dont try it on sprints.. 5,6 or 7furlong races i got roasted a few times :)
