Hi
Anyone know a good explanation why I get some matches that :
0-0 start @13 , odds moves down steadily , first minute odds are still 13 or maybe just 12,5.
And that is good.
But sometimes I get , that odds @13 , at 1st minute 0-0 odds are already at 11
can be a problem of liquidity or smt else ?
thanks

If one team comes out completely on top, the odds can easily drift.
Happened to me on the Mexico - South africa game at the World Cup.
I took Mexico early, they come out flying and they dropped from 2.8 to 2.5 without even scoring a goal.
Everything else i'd got position on drifted!
Depends very much on peoples perceptions as to the likeliness of it remaining 0-0. IF it looks like it really isn't going to be a goal filled game, 0-0 will move swiftly down.
And yes I would suggest that the more money in the game, the slower the odds drop intially as there will be far more people with differing opinions.
Hope this helps mate?

I agree with you, but in this case at kick off, without even see them playing.
My explanation would be that odds moved wrong and market is going to fix them when its live, but its random when it happen or u can see it by check if odds moved up long time or down long time before match , or smt like that , dont know.
Its just sometimes it would be better just wait 30 sec then enter market then since u get 1,5 point discount on a lay :D

If some one has been matched higher (the top price) before kick off they can keep the price up and watch many people panic and chase to get out. Before the game 0-0 always has lots of traded volume. Many big guys will be playing with hedged profit from pre-match with no risk when the game starts.Others just take the price thats there and have to sit and sweat waiting for the price to drop.Leaving themselves exposed for the chance of a small reward. This markets not for me as the risk-reward is not that appealing. If i did have a crack at it i would try to build a free bet pre-match,by staggering my entry trades to pull my average up or down as the case may be.I know some people can trade this with success but they know the strike rate and have a set exit point.I prefer scores that involve both teams scoring.Mainly because if you trade pre-match and havent got out by kick off (which you should anyway) 1 early goal wont kill your trade and you will still get out without much damage .I think the majority of 0-0 money is traders as punters tend to back other scores. So remember you are playing a market that has lots of experienced traders in it.
Best of luck to you.:)
