Total lack of World Cup orientated posts, so following what can only be described as a very enjoyable weekend  here are my thoughts on this South American mouth waterer.

Brazil 1.58
Draw 4.2
Chile 7.6

World Cup Form

Brazil
Beat North Korea 2-1 (HT 0-0)
Beat Ivory Coast 3-1 (HT 1-0)
Drew with Portugal 0-0

Chile
Beat Honduras 1-0 (HT 1-0)
Beat Switzerland 1-0 (HT 0-0)
Lost to Spain 1-2 (HT 0-2)

Confusing stats from the Racing Post - Key Stats says Brazil have scored 25 in their last six against Chile, whilst Mark Langdon's write-up suggests the aggregate scoreline for the same period is 26-3

Summary Chile looked good for 10-15 minutes against Spain on Friday night but they seemed to lack self-belief once the first goal was scored (Arguably against the overall run of play). Brazil should come out all guns blazing following a highly predictable nil-niller with Portugal earlier that afernoon. There is only one outcome in my mind and so it is a case of how long Chile can keep Brazil out!

Great effort. Shame I am only reading this now. :(

I thought Brazil looked so good tonight very professional. At no point did they look like losing.
