Would be interesting to now what i causing these problems. Seems to be a lot of problems at the moment. They should really consider to put the all the casino shit and virtual racing on another site imo.

Yesterday I think they had problems for around 2 hours. When it came back the API was still unreliable for a while and dropped a few times.

Not a TT problem, my bot error log is showing that the BF servers are hosed.

It's quite hard to take the unreliability in general the days before the premium charge day.

When will we have decent competition?

when everyone will stop asking those questions and transfer money to other exchanges

Sorry for the total novice question but what is the TT? (apart from a bike race)

I can't log in to the geeks toy software - I get an error message about service being unavailable. Only the second time I have used it though.

Thanks

TT = The Toy = The Geeks Toy = A Geeks Toy

Can you give me a reason why the general betfair customer should move to other exchanges? Have you took a look into that purple BetDAQ's website? These problems (API locks, premium charges, etc.) only affect a very small portion of people.
Sometimes people think that Betfair's market is only made by traders...

pirate, now i dont get you man. on first post you asking for competition and on secong everything is ok again. im a bit lost now :D

ThePirate
26th January 2010, 02:21 PM
I'm not saying it's everything ok. I'm just saying that most people don't use API software, and clearly most people don't pay premium charge. So there's no reason for that people to change. Betfair has clearly a better appelative website, better offer and diversity. It's not with better api and no premium charge that you can beat a company like Betfair.

Anyway, things looking better now...

Sawadee Krap! Poot thai mai dai. Khun poot parsar angrit dai mai? :)

Yes, or should I say "Khrap". I am married to a Thai , and was once a teacher of the English language in Thailand. So I know nitnoi. Most of the Thai words i know are useful but possibly not for airing on this forum :D
My new puppy is called Snowy. My family fall about laughing when I try to say "snow" in Thai. It has an altogether different meaning depending on the tone used.
