hi, have used bet angel/soccer mystic in the past and was happy with everything but the price.
so i made the switch to the toy, set the ladder to bet devil reverse and started

i backed everton v man city 2-1 in correct score 2 at 11.50
the game was 2-0 at half time so i wanted to close the trade the odds wer down to 6.40

the list of green figures on the left column in bet angel shows the profit you will make by clicking on it and closing the trade

so i clicked 10.20 which was parallel to the best matched bet i could get

instead of placing a lay bet big enough to close the trade with a 10.20 profit it just layed 2

is the only way to close the trade like bet angel to do the maths yourself and change the default stake manually or am i missing something

any help appreciated

Welcome aboard :)
Excuse me, but my english is not so good to understand and help you.
If you can rephrase the question, maybe I understand.
I am sure someone else on the road will help you.

I am very interested in the soccer mystic. :)
Can you share the experience you have with this please?

Thanks in advance.

you need to click on the green number to close/hedge at that price

If you click in the ladder it will place your stake (2)

If you had backed 2 @ 11.5 you would have needed to lay 3.59 @ 6.4 to make a profit of 1.59. The Toy would have calculated this. I think that you should forget all about BA now and try to use the Toy as provided.
I do not understand how you have mentioned the figure 10.20 What was it, please ? The most profit you could have made was 1.59.

You need to right click on the green figures on the left, which will then bring up a list of figures including a green amount, and the green amount is what you need to click for an even profit.

You need to go to:

Ladder Layout>Profit & Loss>Own Column

If you want it in its own column like BA

I would recommend you read the User Manual, paying particular attention to pages 6 and 7 of the Ladder Interface section (Just click on the ? in the header of the Ladder window and it will load it).

There are numerous ways to hedge your position, also have a read of the Market & API status help section and the keyboard shortcut section of the ladder help section.

Then when you have that done work through the rest of the manual as you will learn about all of the features in the toy as there are a hell of a lot that are not in any other trading application and require some learning.

It will be time very well spent/invested!

Trust me the greening up of the toy works correctly, it does exactly what it is told to do, I use it hundreds of times a day so would have seen any errors by now.

Happy trading :)

ok switched to the toy plus ladder layout and gave profit/loss it's own column - works perfectly

so my other big question is, is there any kind of auto dutching feature?

If you enter "dutching" into the search engine your question will soon be answered! :)
